Newport Beach based full service commercial real estate firm has an opportunity for an energetic, self-directed, organized and multi-tasking Property Management Assistant. This position will provide primary support to the Vice President of Property Management and be focused on the daily operations of a commercial property portfolio.
Basic job duties include, but not limited to: Serve as liaison between tenants, engineering staff and vendors Prepare lease abstracts and new tenant files Manage online work order system Track tenant and vendor insurance certificates Responsible for portions of the monthly financial statement preparation and coding property invoices Responsible for preparing aspects of the annual budget and year-end reconciliations Leads regular inspections of the properties and assigns work orders as needed AP/AR functions
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience, be customer service oriented, detail oriented, possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, proficient in Excel and Word, have effective communication skills - both oral and written, and strong computer and typing skills. College degree preferred. Competitive compensation package offered including medical and dental insurance, and 401(k). Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
