This position is part of an 11 person Boston real estate management team. This is a unique role that is real estate related but also includes assisting clients with vehicle logistics and varied general requests (personal in nature). You will be responsible to support a team of Property Managers in the completion of day-to-day maintenance and preventative tasks. You will also oversee scheduled vendor services as needed. Troubleshooting issues as they arise, conveying issues, working on possible solutions, and advising team and clients with issues and suggested course of action. The position requires snow removal at several client properties as needed. Flexibility and excellent communication are key to success in this role.
Perform client-requested personal tasks on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, etc.).
Manage client vehicle maintenance/services on a regular basis, including registration renewals, auto body services, state inspections, detailing, arrangements for reserved parking and relocation of vehicles.
Support property managers in the completion of day to day tasks, projects and other work as requested.
Perform general maintenance tasks as necessary.
Direct communication and interaction with clients under supervisor direction.
Report to supervisor and management on all day to day activities and issues.
Identify, prioritize and perform work orders to maintain property value, building health and safe environments.
Check and maintain major appliances.
Coordinate and assist Corporate Security with medical equipment checks, updates, and replacement of items.
Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, and annual tagging.
Source, schedule and work with approved contractors or vendors for property tasks and projects.
Troubleshoot all building issues which arise and work solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Inform clients of issues or proposed work, plan a suggested course of action; once work is approved, schedule work at the convenience of client, being sure to minimize disruption.
Accompany vendors at properties to assure security, privacy and task oversight. Provide property protection as needed. Work alongside with vendors to facilitate an efficient cost-effective outcome.
Respond to client requests and work to complete requirements in a timely and prioritized manner.
Test and replace light bulbs as needed.
Remove snow and apply ice melt at client homes during snow events and provide follow up service (ice melt) to ensure safety. Install snow markers as necessary.
Assist with installation and removal of storm panels, with spring and fall landscape cleanup, including bridle path upkeep and repairs, and monitor and assist with lawn care and maintenance.
Schedule/supervise pest control services bi-annually and coordinate follow up visits if required.
Schedule and supervise interior/exterior window cleaning bi-annually and at client request.
Plan and oversee preventative maintenance on all home systems and equipment as needed to maintain effectiveness and prolong life expectancy.
Continue education through company provided presentations, trade shows and classes.
Self-perform preventative maintenance when possible, balancing when to outsource vs. self-perform
Assist with vendor compliance and management.
Work with security, technology and curatorial and manage communication, access and services.
Invoice review and approval.
Help manage holiday decoration installations.
Storage organization and arrangement.
Assess for safety and accessibility issues for aging clients.
Provide timely compliance with all company administration and attend company meetings and training as requested.

Position requires being “on call” with availability for weekends and evenings in emergency situations.
Ability to use a scissor lift.

Education and Experience:
Associates Degree or equivalent in related field preferred.
10+ years in similar role or related experience required (including an understanding of all major trades)
Current valid driving license is essential
The position is Boston based but does require occasional New England travel.
