Make the case, take the risk
At Common, we embrace smart risks. A smart risk can be rationally defended to yourself and your peers, ideally with data. We encourage people at every level in the organization to take smart, measured risks.
Bring Data to the Conversation
Data drives a lot of decisions we make and how we operate, so bring data to the conversation whenever possible to ensure we arrive at the right conclusion.
Default to transparency
Authenticity, honesty, and transparency are essential to ...maintaining our culture of trust. We should all strive to be clear in communication and avoid making assumptions. Adopting this mindset also fosters better feedback and communication.
Changes may be small or large-scale, affect just one department or the whole company. As we scale, adapting to new conditions and embracing change is essential.
Start with yes
Approach new challenges, questions, requests with an open mindset. Instead of shutting down an idea right away, start with a mindset of "we should be able to figure this out."
