In the evolving commercial real estate environment, property management is augmented by communication and financial analytics. We need someone willing to apply current skills and learn new skills daily, refining strategy based on results and metrics. We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated experience managing several projects simultaneously and who is also capable of working both collaboratively and autonomously.
Primary responsibilities include:
Interface with clients and tenants daily.
Participate in the formulation and strategy of capital improvements.
Support clients and principals with the materials needed to effectively maintain and lease buildings.
Perform market research and business development.
Utilize financial analytics to aid in client decision-making.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES California Real Estate Sales License.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or from clients, co-workers and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information internally to groups of co-workers and externally to clients.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires some analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, internet research and web publishing skills. Ability to manipulate basic templates in Power Point a plus. Ability to determine and respond to conflicting priorities.

There are two different sides of the company:
Los Angeles Real Estate Management, Inc. handles the property management for all owned properties and third party clients' properties. There are 10 owned properties by LAREM, 17 third party properties, and 4 business park associations totaling about 5 million square feet.
