Our fast-growing company is seeking to hire a Director of Multi-Family Property Operations to join our team. This position is responsible for the overall successful operation of properties and works to ensure the department operation meet or surpass industry standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Defines, implements, and revises operational policies and guidelines for the organization.
Liaison with department heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide compliance with various federal, state, allocate and program requirements.
Oversees customer support services and monitors property reputation. Acts to improve and correct deficiencies in customer service programs and ensure highest quality service from property teams.
Analyzes property performance data and trends to support and recommend corrective action and provides guidance to teams to support expected results.
Assists in the development of regional and property staff by ensuring that only the top talent is recruited, selected, and hired to represent the company. Provides one-on-one coaching, guidance, and mentoring to property leadership. Ensures that all associates receive appropriate training. Delegate’s responsibility and authority as appropriate to facilitate staff development.
Audits all properties in the assigned area on a regular basis to ensure that they present the highest quality image possible.
Reviews and presents operating budgets to VP of Property Management and Executive Management Team.
Resolves elevated customer complaints and employee relations issues in a manner that is in the best interest of the company, customer, and associate.
Reviews, approves, and monitors the completion of all capital projects being performed at properties in the area.
Participates in monthly and quarterly portfolio performance meetings with Regional Staff and Executive Management Team.
Experience, Skills and Abilities Required
10+ years in multi-family property management with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Significant knowledge of LIHTC programs and State Agency Requirements.
CPM, ARM, or CAPS designation is preferred but not required.
Superior breadth of management skills, budget execution and management.
Demonstrated experience in developing a team.
Proven record of improving business results.
