The City of Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a dynamic leader to become the next Deputy Housing Director – Asset Management. This is an exciting and rewarding new position within the Asset Management Division of the Housing Department. The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical skills, and will understand asset management, financial modeling, debt income, tax credit periods, revenue modeling, and conversions.
The Deputy Housing Director – Asset Management must be well-versed and experienced in successfully building and maintaining positive working relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the City, and will be thoughtful, inclusive, and resourceful in their ability to solve problems. The ideal candidate will also possess: the ability to be collaborative and strategically focused; strong leadership skills, with the ability to successfully manage and motivate staff; effective communication skills; knowledge of or experience with HUD housing programs; and experience with oversight of an operational or service delivery function.
